Course Description:
Designed for high beginner-level English language users who
already have a basic knowledge of English, this course helps
participants develop their English skills through better understanding
and using grammar principles, focusing on describing necessity,
making recommendations and forming comparisons. (For example:
"You need to improve your English." / You should take this class!" /
"Mexico is warmer than the U.S." / "Brazil is the largest country in
South America.") Class size limited to 10 students.
Performance Outcomes:
It is expected that successful participants will be able to
communicate more easily in English, developing the ability
to compare people and things, and to give advice.

The textbook for this course is Basic English Grammar, 4th ed.

Location:
Option #1: In-person: Students may now participate in classes in-person if they have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
