State House Tour
Schedule: Friday, August 2nd, 2024: 2:00-3:30 P.M.
Summary:
Built in 1798, the Massachusetts State House is home to the state government of
Massachusetts. Recognizable by its gold dome, this historic building has long served
as a landmark of Boston and is a prominent feature of the lovely Beacon Hill
neighborhood. Join us to meet new people, make new friends and practice English
while exploring this fascinating building and its history!

Transportation to / from the MBTA Park Street station.

There will be optional costs, such as purchasing souvenirs.

Please wear comfortable shoes for walking.

Please be prepared for typical, unpredictable, New England weather.

This is a Massachusetts state government facility. As such, all visitors will pass a security check (metal detector and possible wanding). No weapons are allowed (including mace). This sounds strange, but, normally, there is always one person who tries to brings a weapon and, therefore, can not participate in the tour.

All participants must show proof of full COVID-19 vaccination in order to
enter the building. Masks covering the nose and mouth must be worn at all times while inside the building.
