Harvard Art Museum Tour
Schedule: Saturday, January 4, 2020, 3:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
The Harvard University art museums have recently reopened to the
public following an extensive renovation. It holds one of the largest
art collections in Boston. Its galleries include masterpieces drawn
from Ancient Egypt, Ancient Greece, the Americas, China, Japan,
India, Medieval and Renaissance Europe, and modern art. Join us
to meet new people, make new friends and practice English as we
explore this wonderful museum!
3:00 P.M. Meet inside the 32 Quincy Street lobby.
3:10 P.M. Obtain admission and check coats.
3:15 P.M. Tour the museum, focusing on floors 1-2.
4:45 P.M. Share thoughts on the collection.
5:00 P.M. Depart the museum.
Transportation to / from Harvard Square.
Free for members of the Harvard community. Free for Cambridge residents with proof of residence in Cambridge. $15 for others.
There will be optional costs, such as purchasing souvenirs and refreshments.
Please wear comfortable shoes for walking.
Please be prepared for typical, unpredictable, New England weather.
Noncommercial, non-flash photography is permitted of most objects.
Filming is not allowed.
Eating and drinking in the galleries is not allowed.
Touching the objects of art is not allowed.
